The 32nd HYSEA National Summit & Awards 2025, held on February 11 in Hyderabad, stood as a landmark event in India’s tech ecosystem. Organized by HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) in collaboration with STPI-Hyderabad and the ITE&C Department, Government of Telangana, this year’s summit embraced the theme “AI & Beyond: Redefining the Future.”
Bringing together global tech leaders, industry pioneers, and policymakers, the summit explored transformative advancements in AI, hyperscalers, quantum computing, and 6G. As a highly regarded platform that recognizes excellence across the IT and ITES sectors, the HYSEA Awards segment saw a record number of submissions, underscoring its prestige within the industry.
Amid this dynamic backdrop, Young Tinker Foundation’s “ToW – Tinker on Wheels” received an extraordinary honor. In a first for the summit, HYSEA’s jury created a special award category to recognize the unique social impact of ToW—our mobile AI-STEM lab designed to bring cutting-edge education directly to underserved communities.
The award was presented by Hon’ble IT Minister of Telangana, Shri D. Sridhar Babu, acknowledging ToW’s role in democratizing access to future-ready skills. Notably, ToW was launched in Hyderabad in September 2024 and has since showcased its potential at forums like the International Startup Festival, reaching over 10,000 students annually while keeping costs low.
More than just a mobile makerspace, ToW is a movement—empowering young minds with hands-on STEM learning, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking. Through this initiative, students engage with real-world challenges, nurturing skills essential for thriving in the digital age.
This special recognition at HYSEA 2025 reaffirms our mission to make STEM education inclusive, impactful, and future-focused. As we expand ToW across India, we remain committed to building a generation of innovators equipped to shape the world of tomorrow.
