YTS Monthly Highlights – October Edition

October has been an exciting and productive month across all our Young Tinker Spaces (YTS). From hands-on learning to field visits and new inaugurations, our students have shown incredible enthusiasm, creativity, and progress. Here’s a quick look at what our YTS centers achieved this month:

1. YTS 1678A – Touch Orphanage: From Learners to Teachers

A proud moment for us—two students who previously attended online classes are now teaching others at their facility.
This month, learners explored how to glow an LED using a resistor and a breadboard, building strong foundations in basic electronics.

2. YTS 1778B – Boys Town: Creativity in 3D Printing

Students at YTS 1778B successfully completed Workbook Page 35 and moved on to designing their own 3D models. They have begun printing their creations, gaining confidence in digital design and additive manufacturing.

3. YTS 1778C – AP Model School: Field Visit & Tinkercad Completion

At AP Model School, students completed their Tinkercad module with great engagement.
Our team also conducted a field visit to observe their progress. We were delighted to see their excitement, energy, and eagerness to dive deeper into innovation and project-building.

4. YTS 1778D – Cheers Foundation: New YTS Inaugurated

A new Young Tinker Space was inaugurated this month at the Cheers Foundation.
With four sessions already completed, students have covered the topic of Village Planning and are showing tremendous enthusiasm for upcoming sessions.

5. YTS 2980A – Himalaya Inter College: Setup Completed

All setups were completed at Himalayan Inter College, and the first session on Young Tinker Overview took place successfully.
The team is now preparing for the official YTS inauguration at the school.

6. YTS 2377A – Carmel Convent School: Multi-Level Learning

Different levels achieved different milestones this month:

  • Level 2: Understanding Wireless Technology

  • Level 3: Completed the Plant Watering & Monitoring System

  • Level 4: Completed Understanding Market
Each group showed excellent teamwork and curiosity.

    7. YTS 2275A – Narmadalaya: Hands-on Traffic Light Module

Students of Classes 6, 7, and 8 learned the working principle of the Traffic Light Module and built their own functional models.
They were also introduced to the basics of Tinkercad, where they explored fundamental features through interactive activities.

    Closing Note

October has been a month of innovation, growth, and transformation across all YTS centers. The dedication of students and the hard work of facilitators continue to strengthen our mission of making hands-on STEM learning accessible and impactful.

Looking forward to more creative breakthroughs in the coming months! 🚀
