Young Tinker Ambassador Program
Young Tinker Global Ambassadors
Be the first one. Every Young Tinker Club starts with one person who decides it should exist in their school, college or locality. If that is you, start the club — and apply to be a Young Tinker Global Ambassador.
Why a Global Ambassador? You’re the 1st one.
A club in a new place does not start from a plan in a head office. It starts with a student, a teacher or a neighbour who goes first. The Ambassador Program is how we recognise that person, back them, and connect them with everyone else who went first somewhere else in the world.

In your school
A Junior club, with a teacher beside you, for the students of your school.

In your college
A Campus club for the students of your college or university.

In your community
A Community club for a neighbourhood, a village, a workplace or an alumni network.
What an ambassador does
It is a commitment, not a badge.
- Starts the club. You found the Young Tinker Club where you are, and you are its first member.
- Brings people in. The first members, a mentor or teacher, and the people who will help it last beyond you.
- Speaks for it. Once confirmed, you represent Young Tinker to your institution, your community and other young people.
- Keeps it honest. You log what the club does as it happens, so the impact it reports is real and can be checked.
What you get
The title
Young Tinker Global Ambassador — yours to use in public once your application is confirmed.
A global network
Other ambassadors in other places doing the same thing, and a central team that answers.
Support to start
A named officer, the onboarding checklist, a one-year plan and the Learning Center.
A record that counts
What you and your club do is recorded on the impact ledger and on your Skill Passport.
Who can apply
- Anyone aged 13 or older who wants to start a Young Tinker Club where there is none yet.
- If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree — we email them for you.
- Students, teachers, young professionals and community members are all welcome.
- You agree to the ambassador terms: our safeguarding policy and code of conduct, acting within the law, and not using the title until you are confirmed.
How it works
Apply
Part 1 is about you and your request to be a Global Ambassador. Part 2 is about the club.
We read it
An officer checks who is asking, where the club will be and what you have done before.
We decide
Your club request and the ambassador title are both decided, and we tell you.
You start
Onboarding begins — and once confirmed, you can use the title.
Ready to go first?
The application has two parts — about you, then about your club. It takes about fifteen minutes. You will make a free Young Tinker Club account first, so you can follow your application afterwards.
One rule before you apply
You cannot use the word “Ambassador” publicly — on social media, a CV, a profile, a visiting card or a poster — until your application is confirmed. Applying does not make you an ambassador; our confirmation does, and we will tell you when it happens.
