US privacy notice

This notice explains how Young Tinker Foundation Inc. (“we”) handles personal information from people in the United States who give to us, sign up for updates or take part in our programmes. Our India organisation has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
- Donors: name, email, postal address, gift amount and date. Payments are handled by PayPal, and we never see or store your card details.
- Newsletter and forms: name, email and what you tell us.
- Club members and ambassadors: the details in their application. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian’s agreement, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
- Website use: pages visited and device information, through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar.
How we use it
- To process gifts and send tax acknowledgments.
- To meet legal duties, including IRS reporting and sanctions screening.
- To send updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To run and improve our programmes and website.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who work for us (payment, email, hosting and analytics), with authorities when the law requires it, and with our partner organisations when needed to run a programme you joined.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop receiving emails, by writing to hq@youngtinker.org. We keep donation records for as long as US tax law requires.
