Young Tinker Volunteering Program
At Young Tinker Foundation, we believe that every individual has the power to create change. Whether you want to work directly with students and communities or contribute your professional expertise, our volunteering program offers meaningful ways to make an impact.
There are 2 Tracks for volunteering:
- Field Volunteering
- Skills-based Volunteering
Field Volunteering
Be on the ground with us and experience change first-hand. Field volunteering is about engaging directly with students, schools, and communities to inspire and empower them.
What you can do:
Assist in conducting STEM workshops and hands-on sessions in schools.
Support the rollout of Tinker on Wheels (our mobile makerspace) in rural and tribal areas.
Coordinate events and interact with local communities.
Be the bridge between students’ aspirations and opportunities.
👉 Perfect for those who love working with people, traveling, and being part of real-world impact.
Skills-based Volunteering
Not everyone can be in the field — but your skills can still create lasting impact. Skills-based volunteering allows you to contribute your expertise remotely or part-time.
What you can do:
Mentor students in areas like AI, IoT, Robotics, and 3D design.
Create content, visuals, or manage social media campaigns to inspire others.
Support with fundraising, grant writing, and corporate partnerships.
Share your technical knowledge to improve our projects and digital platforms.
👉 Perfect for professionals in IT, design, communications, or anyone who wants to give back using their unique skills.
